Food on a budget!

Is it just me or am i the only person who is completely gobsmacked when i hear about low income families struggling to feed their families with healthy filling meals! Aparently benefits dont cover the cost of fish fingers and many other overpriced junk food! My family and i can survive on £30 a week normally with money left over and have 7 very good healthy meals every night of the week. I feel that in todays society people just arent willing to put the effort in and actually cook a meal! Does anyon else find this?
