I think that it is better to listen to the parents' advice as children are inexperienced in many things. This way they will avoid making many mistakes that their parents made when they were young.

yes.some people may say that the instructions and experience from parents help we go further mmore smoothly.But only through failures we can truly gain discoverries or progress.These second-hand experience will help you dealt with new things more confidence and discern,for you kown that you will finally all through these problems.As parents and kids are brought up in different periods.Espeacially we are in a society that is ever-fast developing.Every new generation needs to redefine 'right' and 'wrong' in its own terms and according to the conditions of its own time.we need to absorb some new idea.
