friends or lovers

I dont really believe in platonic friendship between a man and a woman. I am always arguing with my friends when they refer to a woman as "just a friend". I believe there are strings attached to such friendship and this will manifest either now or later (and it always does!). But I may be wrong.
But, is it possible for a man and a woman to "just be friends"?

it is definately possible to a man and woman to be just friends. for me i have always gotten along better with guys then girls ever since i was in school. i have a friend that is a guy. we've been friends since 7th grade. then we became best friends to were he knew more about me then the friends that i did have of girls did. he is the type of guy he will try anything with any girl. thinks with the wrong head type of thing. lol. but me and him have even slept in the same bed before and all he did was put his arm around me. he didn't try anything because we are so close it would just be weird ya know. the sad thing is right now he is in a hospital in pittsburgh were he got life flighted to after he hit a telephone poll head-on riding his 4-wheeler. i miss him so much.
