Well I dont know about you but Im not patient at all. I really try to be but thats not happening with me. If Im expecting someone I get prepared for them hours in advance. I think its rude when people say they are going to be over at a certain time and they dont show up on time. Or at all. Now tell me are you a patient person?

When I am at work I am very patient..but at home I tend to be less patient only because I guess I expect things to be a certain way (god forbid) someone moved something....LOL..So yes and no to your question...when I need to be somewhere I am always early...

Be it at home or the work place one can't ecpect things to
always go the way they feel it should actually. There's always
a wrench thrown into plans of any trype daily to us and we have
to learn to be patient with this as well.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I think I'm pretty patient, though I'm not the most patient person on earth, but I don't mind queuing at supermarkets. Mom hates that and she gets very agitated when there's a long line at supermarkets he he he...
However, I also dislike coming late to appointments, so if I'm expecting someone or if I have a date with someone, I'd make sure I'm ready before the appointed time. But I don't mind waiting for someone to come. I've done that a lot. I used to live in a small alley and then my friends would pick me up in the streets, so I had to walk outside and wait outside. Sometimes I waited for 10 minutes, sometimes 30 minutes he he he...

I am not that patient. I know that people may come in late, but not that late. I allow them about fifteen minutes to half an hour, but that is that. Mind you my patience comes to an end when I am in the line and the lady in front of me takes out her purse, and counts pennies, then looks vainly for any other change so she does not have to use her debit card. I am also concern with service people who saw they are coming over that morning, and you wait, and you cannot go anywhere, and the afternoon comes. My husband can go out, (when he was working, I had to stay home all day waiting for the service man to show up.) and then the company calls to say that the service man could not make it. Now that tries my patience.

Yupe, I am a patient person, my husband not. So we are such a middle combination if we decide something. I am still in my consideration while he already want to decide, and he said I'm too details, and I said he is to fast and careless LOL.

im not patient at all lol! watching someone fumble with a bottle cap or something else inane, gets me agitated. i dont mean to be and i TRY to suppress any verbal comments that may come out, but it happens. though i must say i am more patient than i used to be for sure! maybe not by a whole lot, but there is less grumbling and exasperation than say 5 years ago.
ppl being late drives me nuts too, and i go out of my way to make sure that i am early. if i know company is coming over in the afternoon, then the house is spotless before the clock strikes noon, just in case they show up early themselves.
just better to be prepared then caught off guard..especially with a messy house LOL!

Sometimes I am and sometimes I am not. I don't like it when others are late also as I expect them to be on time like I am on time to things. I always call ahead if I know I am going to be late.

For me to answer this honestly is a trick. I can be the most patient person the world has ever seen but there are exceptions. I don 't like waiting for people who can't be on time either, and I get real worked up when my car is on the fritz. I tend to think God grant me patience But Hurry when it comes to being without my wheels. Take Care.

i am definately not a patient person. i agree with you it always erks me when someone says they are coming over at a certain time and doesn't show up for hours later or not at all without even calling. i absolutely can not stand that. if they aren't going to come at least call.

Hi TerryZ! When I read the headline of your discussion, I readily said to myself, Oh yes, I am a very patient person because I am so patient with people who really irritates me but then when I finished reading your topic. I laughed at myself and say, Oh no, I am not patient after all because I always want things done without wasting even a few minutes of anybody's time. haha.. Take care and have a nice day.

I am, possibly the most impatient person in the world! I hate it when a bus/train/taxi doesn't arrive on time and I get so annoyed that I end up walking to my destination. The same with people, if I'm meant to be meeting someone and they don't turn up on time and don't let me know that they are going to be late, I tend to walk off!
The thing I don't get it, I'm always late! I have never been on time for anything in my life! How does that work out? Lol!
Perhaps, people being late for me is payback for when I'm always late for others!

I consider myself as a patient person. But I must admit that there were times that I get easily irritated. I really have a long patience for children because most of the time they are really not aware of what they are doing and about the complications they could trigger. I'm not really patient about adult people because they have mind of their own and they are fully aware of their acts.
