There is a need in my area for trusted childcare providers who accept vouchers/payments from DHS and Penquis - any subsidized childcare payments. I run a small daycare in my home. Check your state to see how many children you can care for legally (at one time). You can opt to get a license to care for more. I do not get rich off this. But it hoest work for honest pay. You will not likely get paid as much for your servises as a center would, but you could work from home. In this way, you can save on gas, car repairs, fast food and childcare, as well as professional clothing. You can purchase most of what you need to start at the dollar store, and you can require the parents to provide thinsg like food and diapers. You may also qualify for beeing on a food program which would cover daycare children, and your children if they are under 12 or 13, for so many meals and snacks per day.
