What is your favorite Jonny Depp movie? To help jog your memory here are a few: Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Pirates of the Carribean's 1&2, The Corpse's Bride, The Libertine, Finding Neverland, Secret Window, Chocolat, from Hell, Blow, Sleepy Hollow, The 9th Gate, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Donnie Brasco, Don Juan Demarco, Ed Wood, Cry Baby, Platoon, and many more (4 more in production. 2 of them being Sin City sequels). My favorite is Blow, followed by Secret Window then Fear and Loathing.

I've not seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory yet. But I liked his performance in Pirates. He was funny in Sleepy Hollow. But, I really enjoyed his character in Secret Window. He was fabulous. Platoon he didn't have much to play. That was his first movie I guess. Don Juan was a different role he played. Donnie Brasco was good. Really good.

Oh Johnny Depp is always great in his movies. He is very sexy. I really loved him in Cry Baby and Pirates of the Caribean. Oh and Finding Neverland, how could I forget that one. Your list was very helpful.

I think my favorite Depp movies so far are Benny & Joon and Don Juan Demarco. I just loved those. I loved most of the Johnny Depp movies I've seen though. I haven't had a chance yet to see Chocolat, Libertine, Finding Neverland or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory yet. I wasn't a big fan of Cry Baby though. I thought it was really quite stupid and a waste of time.

Hehehe... you obviously like his darker side!
I prefer his sexy side. If my life depended on making a choice it would probably be The Ninth Gate, but only if my life depended on it. I love Pirates, both 1 & 2 (who doesn't??), and Chocolat is up there too. The only problem with Chocolat was not enough Johnny Depp!

I have so many favorites by Depp. He is an amazing actor and person. I have to say that for pure drama Finding Neverland has my vote and on the lighter side there is the Pirates movies which are totally awesome. For a one of a kind performance I vote for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. If I was to vote for him as a bad guy it would be a toss up between the Astronauts Wife and the Libertine. But the decisions for just one is too hard for he has a wide variety of talent.

I'm a writer, so I love movies where there is somehow a character that writes. "THe Libertine" "Secret Window" and "Finding Neverland" find their way into my heart.
I have to say that the first time I watched "The Libertine" I was really surprised. I watch rated R movies all the time and I hadn't seen anything like what that movie had. It made me want to try and become a bit more shocking in my writting. In fact, I have one of John Wilmot's poems in a photo frame on my desk so that I can remember exactly why writers need to become shock value.
"Give me leave to rail at you, I ask nothing but my due: to call you false, and then to say, you shall not keep my heart a say" -- John Wilmot a poem entitled "Give me leave to rail at you"

You mean Kevin Bacon don't you? Aha, now we can connect Kevin Bacon to Johnny Depp with this discussion...OK...I'll stop. So many good ones mentioned. My favorite is "Ed Wood" but there are certainly too many to choose from (I'm sure Johnny likes it that way).

I just love edward scissorhands and charlie and the chocolate factory. Johnny Depp is such a versatile actor that he makes every character he plays so believable. I downloaded a chunk of his movies but i haven't found the time to watch all of them.

I can probably watch any Johnny Depp movie, but my favorite thing to watch him in 21 Jump Street. I couldn't have been more happier when I learned when this show came to DVD. It's so cheesy, but awesome.
But if I HAD to pick a movie, I would with Cry Baby.

Hmmmmm...I'd have to say that my favorite Johnny Depp films would be Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Pirates of the Carribean and What's Eating Gilbert Grape because of how well he played the characters in these films.

I loved him in cry baby. He is so fine and such an amazingly talented actor. I love how he can play any type of character and does. He can be weird, creepy, sexy, a pirate, a murderer, a detective, and everything else. I love the fact that he is so diverse. I really liked him in secret window as well. I mean seriously, is there anything this hottie can't do?
