Whose job is it to organise a school reunion?
My husband saw an advertisement on the television for a school reunion for the school & year of a friend of his.
It made him think about his school reunion, and why he has not heard anything about it.
He has not changed his name by marriage, or anything like that, so there is not any valid reason why he can't be contacted regarding it.

I've only heard of larger, more expensive or private schools that have reunions. You'd have to have a committee. So I guess there has to be a committee for each year. I think it also helps if you keep in touch with some of your classmates ...that way, if something does crop up, one of you is sure to hear about it.
I went to 3 different high schools, two in suburbia and one very expensive boarding school. The first two I haven't heard of holding reunions and the boarding school has them but I'm not sure how often. I guess it could get pretty confusing.
I suppose thsy could hold one for anyone attending the school in a certain year rather than all the different years.

BELMCstar, I am my batch' organizer during our 25th reunion. I am not the batch President nor am I the valedictorian. It just so happened that I am the least busiest and the most dedicated one at that time. I personally did everything to locate and communicate with each of my batchmates (locally and outside our country). Out of the 233 batchmates I have, I was able to locate 223 of them.
