Now I am a student who is exercising my skill in a school.I am teaching computer. This week I had a class. I found it is hard to keep the students quiet. And I was afraid they were not interested in my lesson. How to make the lesson more interesting? How to manage the students? How to make a good relationship with the student? Who can help me.

A good classroom environment has a lot of considerations. First, the classroom must be conducive to learning, meaning, it has a good ventilation and of course enough chairs for the students. Another, the teachers must have the knowledge on how to motivate the students before you begin your lesson. You must see to it that your students are ready for the lesson, because if not, they would not find it interesting. Another, you must be ready with your lesson. The worst experience of a teacher is facing the student when you are not ready. You must be knowledgeable with the lesson you are teaching. You must have your lesson plan that is mastered by you before the class starts. Remember, you can not give what you do not have. So before you face the class, you must have a prepared lesson plan, you must have your motivation ready and your lesson must have more activities for the students to perform. Keep them busy to avoid a gloomy and a lifeless class. Make your lesson interesting. And to end your lesson, you must evaluate in a form of short test or question and answer technique to find out if they were able to get your lesson. IF most of your students got high score in your test, then, they understood your lesson and you were able to hit your target. So that's it. i hope i was able to inspire you with that simple tips. Thanks

I am a teacher, and I'm here to say that students talking is one of the most difficult problems in any classroom. With hard work and firm rules I've found I can get most children to avoid constant talking. However, in every class there are incorrigibles who talk and talk and talk no matter what you do. It isn't because they aren't interested. Partly it's because no one ever took the time to teach the child NOT to talk all the time. In some homes I think the children must talk constantly, all on top of one another, and no one pays attention to anything. They have also not been taught to listen, so their minds are working nonstop thinking of things unrelated to the lesson, and they just blurt out those thoughts.
Before you can hope to teach your subject matter effectively you've got to work on teaching your students to listen. They need to be told WHY they can't just talk whenever they feel like it. You'll be telling this over and over and over before it starts to sink in. Teachers don't just teach subjects. They teach behavior skills, too.

Hi! In my school, if you talk about the rules inside the classroom, you should stick to them. Students would be afraid to break those rules especially "talking too much" if they know that you are truly serious of what you said. With their interest, you could not please all of your students since they have different personalities. What you can do is, try different teaching strategies. There are several teaching strategies, so try them and see what could be applicable to your class. Always be prepared when you come to class and be honest to your students. By being true to your students, you can earn their respect. Let them feel that they are important and you can be their friend and mentor outside of the classroom- when the class is over. goodluck!
