Does Sam still have his powers?

So, season 3 of Supernatural. Most of the 'gifted' children are gone. And out of the remaining 'best of the best' that the Yellow-Eyed Demon gathered, Sam is the only one left standing.
He hasn't had any visions since then and he never really got a hold of his telekinesis powers, so my question is...has he lost all his powers?
In the season 2 finale episodes, they reveal that all of the chosen children have the ability to 'Control' demons, which is why the one surviving was supposed to be the leader of the underworld army. If Sam still has his powers and can learn to control the demons without losing himself in the process, then he could kick some demon bu** pretty well.
What do you think?

Actually, I thought only that one girl could command demons...but if actually all the children had capabilities of all the powers witnessed -- proven by the fact Sam briefly had telekinesis, than that would mean that Sam would have the ability too...he didn't experiment enough with his powers for much to be that solid but I always thought it strange...remember waaay back when? They visited their old house, and they were helped by that psychic Missouri? She said; "So much power, I wonder how the poor boy didn't know his own father was here."
So much power? Implying maybe he was slightly more powerful than her? If that was the case, then why did he only display a few visions here and there? That ain't entirely too fantastical in the realm of powers.
So maybe we'll see more of it by the end of this season.
Ruby implied that some a little extra had been done to Sam, that hadn't been done to the others...something that Yellow Eyes didn't want the rest at Hell and CO. to find out...so there's a possibility that Sam's powers aren't gone, just matured and waiting to be used once he takes up his role as the demons' new "leader".
Just my thoughts.

Well, we did see that the Yellow Eyed Demon fed Sam his own blood. Which is what he was doing when the mother caught him. And even the girl wanted to know what Sam had inside him that was so special. So, he probably doesn't know he has the power he has and of course now Dean is wondering if Sam is going over to the dark side.

There's that too *nods*
But it's rather silly of Dean to wonder though, I think. I mean we ALL have dark sides. Dean even has one, we've seen that. Dean himself could be a ruthless murderer if he was completely dark, he can shrug off alot.
But his light is often seen with his brother. Self-sacrifice, protecting Sam at (usually) any cost, et cetera.
Sam has changed quite alot over the seasons too I think...though I do think Dean is just beginning to notice how much he's changed. And with what Yellow Eyes told him about Sam festering in his head...it makes him uncertain about alot.
Now we see Dean asking more questions before they go on hunts and Sam just being eager to go after things...whereas before it was the opposite.
Sam still very obviously has morals, but there is a noticeable difference in how he thinks...
I'm looking forward to seeing his dark side, myself ^_^
I mean we got a little hint of it when he was questioning Ruby. Just a TINY hint. He was gruffer 'cause he was spooked, but there was something else to his actions too.
Anyway...it'll be fun to see how it all goes ^_^

I am always thinking about Sam's power. What he can do is having visions of future. I don't think it is a powerful ability. How can he be a leader to control demons who are so powerful. Do you remember last episode he is almost killed by the Demon,if the girl doesn't save him? By the way,the girl is a Demon too. I think their will be someone behind Yellow-Eyed Demon. He or she is more powerful than Yellow-Eyed Demon. He or she can take over this and contact Sam to wake his ability. What I can do now is waiting this gay shows up. May the girl is our great Demon.

His visions were only linked to the other 'gifted' or 'chosen' children. Other then that, he didn't have visions of anything else. In the episode where he met the teenage boy who could move things with his mind, he figured out if he wanted to he could do the same. But he just doesn't have full control over that power. Also, like I said, if he can embrace his destiny, he can control demons. He's defiantly chosen to be something great.
Oh...and I think I know who the girl is. They gave a BIG hint in the last minute of the last episode. We'll see if I'm right.

I think they're in a sort of remission right now, but we haven't seen the last of him. I think last night's episode made it pretty clear that just killing Yellow Eyes isn't going to free Sam from his "destiny" as the demons saw it. I wonder if the ones who were willing to follow Sam will someone try to bring out his powers again, to open that darkness in him to try to pull him to their side. If they might even worship him as some lesser diety, the soldier who leads them to victory to reign over earth. But I am really sure there is a lot more in store for Sam. Do you remember the revelation that Mary Winchester recognized Yellow Eyes when he was standing over Sam's crib? Sam wasn't randomly chosen, there's a lot more history there than we've gotten yet. I am seriously loving how the mythology of the show has been expanding so far this season.
