who would you look for if you were in hot water?

I guess the first person I'd turn to is my spouse, although when there's hot water we're usually in it together! LOL Depending on the situation I'd go to the in laws first and then my parents. In 33 years I can't ever remember my daddy letting me down. But there comes a time when you have to deal with things yourself, and we have this "what happens in the family stays in the family" motto in our house.

It depends on what kind of problem you are talking about. There are some problem that you would pray that your parents never finds out and such problems only close friends can help and there are some problems that you will pray that our friends never find out - such problems are solved by family only. and there are other that are your internal secretes and no one is supposed to know. this one you try your best to solve by yourself no matter how long it will take for the problem to disappear.

Well, first, like you I would figure out if it was something I could handle alone. If it wasn't, then I think it would depend soley on the specific situation. Some situations, you would be better off getting help from your family, others call for a close friends advice.
