I have 4 kids of varying age gaps, 1 and 2 have 29 months between them, 2 and 3 have 3 years between them and 3 and 4 have 2 years between them. I find that 3 didn't seem to get enough time with mum and fights 4 for attention. Does anyone else have age gaps in there children that they find work (ie. my 1 and 2 get on like peas in a pod) or don't work (3 and 4 get on but nowhere near as well as 1 and 2).

Ok here we go...
#1 and #2 are 2 years 7 months and 5 days apart.
#2 and #3 are 2 years and 19 days apart.
#3 and #4 are 2 years 7 months and 6 days apart.
#4 and #5 are 2 years 1 month and 19 days apart.
#5 and #6 are 18 months and 18 days apart.
The biggest age gaps were the easiest on me. The closest age gap wasn't as hard as it sounds. I don't have any noticeable rifts between mine caused by the gaps. There are just he normal issues caused by their age and gender ie:the almost 12 year old girl doesn't get along great with her 9 year old brother right now but they love each other and the 2 1/2 year old tries to ride on the baby when he's crawling which isn't a good thing lol!

Six kids how lucky are you. The biggest age gap in mine is between 2 and 3, I do wonder whether 2 looks up to his older sister and therefore 3 (a girl too) can never be quite as good. Hopefully when they are older 2 will realise just how good 3 is. (It could just be that hanging around the younger sibling thing). Sounds like fun in your house, good luck and thanks for the answer.
