Does DIyourself waxing hurt?

i dont tried yet waxing my face plucking my eyebrows yes i wax my legs only i used veet wax strip before i used cream but i read it somewhere in the net the frequent waxing using cream is bad and giving a dark spot on the skin and everytime i wax my legs using wax strip only 2 words comes out in my mouth ooouchhhhhhh and grrrrrrrrrrrrrr painful:-)

I don't wax myself!! I think I would chicken out because it does hurt but it's well worth the pain!!! and it is only a brief pain then goes away really quick!! Oh and p.s. i don't wax my face LOL i'm a girl :) I'd say the the softest part is the armpit!! It hurts pretty bad :) But, hey you don't get caught in a hairy situation....haha

If well applied waxing shouldnt hurt at all. am lucky I dnt wax and will probably not do so in shortest possible future!

I have never tired waxing I am too chicken although they say there are some that are not as painful I only shave or use the cream.the cream lasts longer and the hair is softer but I think waxing is much better and softer than any of them. I hope to be brave to try it out one day. If you do let me know.

I believe that the hair removal techniques that they use for the arms and legs would be too harsh for the face. There should be something special that you can use on your face.

I've waxed my eyebrows on occasion and to me it doesnt hurt at all..in fact I think tweezing alone is more painful/annoying than waxing is...I've never waxed my legs or bikini area though and doubt very much that I would LOL THAT seems a little too painful for my liking ;-)
