Someone emailed this to me, and I thought I would share it. This is very serious, and everyone needs to be careful!
A woman stopped at a pay-at-the-pump gas station to get gas. Once she filled her gas tank and after paying at the pump and starting to leave, the voice of the attendant inside came over the speaker. He told her that something happened with her card and that she needed to come inside to pay. The lady was confused because the transaction showed complete and approved. She relayed that to him and was getting ready to leave but the attendant, once again, urged her to come in to pay or there'd be trouble. She proceeded to go inside and started arguing with the attendant about his threat. He told her to calm down and listen carefully:
He said that while she was pumping gas, a guy slipped into the back seat of her car on the other side and the attendant had already called the police.
She became frightened and looked out in time to see her car door open and the guy slip out. The report is that the new gang initiation thing is to bring back a woman and/or her car.. One way they are doing this is crawling under women's cars while they're pumping gas or at grocery stores in the nighttime The other way is slipping into unattended cars and kidnapping the women.
Please pass this on to other women, young and old alike. Be extra careful going to and from your car at night. If at all possible, don't go alone!
This is real!!
The message:
1. ALWAYS lock your car doors, even if you're gone for just a second!
2. Check underneath your car when approaching it for reentry, and check in the back before getting in.
3. Always be aware of your surroundings and of other individuals in your general vicinity, particularly at night!
Send this to everyone so your friends can take precaution.
AND GUYS...YOU TELL ANY WOMEN YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS Thanks,
Barbara Baker, Secretary Directorate of Training U.S. Army Military Police School .

Although this IS an urban legend is very likely could happen. Be aware of what you are doing, your surroundings at all times and pay attention to your vehicle while you are pumping gas.

I'll also agree about seing this on an urban legend list BUT that doesn't mean it couldn't happen or hasn't happened. Life imitates art and vice versa! Legends get there start somewhere so there very well may be a shred of truth to it. Or sick minds can read these legends and decide to act them out for real.
Regardless of the story's originthe advice given is still very important and worth sharing. Thanks!

now adays it's best to take all precautions where ever women go alone, especially in the cities. Because there are alot of bad men in this world who will attack a women if they can find the right circumstance. SO all women should always watch their surrounds when they don't a man around to protect them. This don't sound like a urban legend to all those who think it is. This could really happen and its a good warning for women along to watch out for. Thanks for posting this warning. All women and men reading this should say thank you.

This is an Urban Legend AND the base of MANY fiction books and movies and its been around SO LONG that women are far more aware of what is "possible" particularly in todays world...But no this is NOT a real story...and lets face it..since when would someone in this "Barbara Bakers" line of work send around (let alone have the time to) a personal email such as this yet written in an IMPERSONAL fashion...
This has been floating around for MANY yrs now...

Urban Legend or not, we as women need to be extra careful about our surroundings. SOmething like this, if it hasn't happened already, it could very well happen at any given time.
So this was a good post. Maybe more people will start locking their doors and just being more aware of things.

I think that is good advice no matter what, but that is an urban legend. It's on several sites lists of myths and scams. I think I've gotten that same e-mail about five times. But even though that didn't happen, I think you are sharing good advice. Just because it didn't happen, doesn't mean it COULDN'T happen.

That is possible to happen nowadays. We just need to be careful so we dont have to be sorry in the end. There are a lot of bad guys out there and we cant trust people around us fully. There are lots of way to fool an ordinary citizen and a warning like this helps a lot to save some. Thank you for sharing this with us.

That makes it is not safe for the girl to go outside alone without accompany and visit not certain aura of a place. She is lucky, because in worst case, she might been kidnapped as human trafficking, and that will cost very badly to herself.
This is a good sharing. Hope those girls notice what you had written in here.
