There's this series called The Bachelor and Bachelorette. The aim is to win a guy or girl in such a short time over some other players. They would really do anything to win that guy or girl and of course the prize that comes with it. How about you what would someone do to win your heart?

I don't like the concept of Bachelor or Bachelorette. There was even a time the two winners didn't end up marrying. I wonder if those that won there really went with the relationship or they just do it for the money. Maybe there are those that are sincere in looking for partners, but you won't find it in that show. You won't act naturally because there is a competition. I think that's the most important in winning one's heart- be yourself! of course, your good self. By being honest, thoughtful and caring to the person you love.

I don't watch The Bachelor or Bachelorette. I get turned off seeing one guy making out with all the different women. If I were one of the women I would hate it and, in fact, I think it is a little degrading. I have watched the special concept shows like "For Love or Money" and the recent one that pitted 20-something women against 40-something women for the affections of a 30 year old man. What I find so utterly unbelievable is that all the women can be "in love" with the same man. It just doesn't make sense. How can they, with their varying personalities, all love the same guy? And how can the guy be so torn over so many women? You can really only have a true connection with one of them. On that recent "Age" show (sorry, I forget the exact title), there was one woman who knew there was no connection and on two occasions was willing to walk away (and I think she should have). I just don't think it's possible to meet someone and be in love. I think the women are desperate and want to be the chosen one for the sake of television and a future with a man.
