after they had been eliminated by the GS WARRIORS...DO YOU THINK DALLAS CAN BRING BACK THE LOST GLORY BY GOING TO THE WEST FINALS

God i hope so . It was so heartbreaking these last 2 years when we just self destructed in front of our eyes. From preseason we have looked pretty good. We have basically the same team with a couple new additions. I was born in Dallas an and basically grew up a die hard Maverick fan. I have seen the good , bad and the ugly. I'm just appreciative we have such a good team compared to 10 years ago when wewere the laugh of the NBA. I think we have gained alot of experience and we have already had the wrose possible things happen to us. let's hope we re-group and win it this year and bring a first NBA title to Dallas. Go Mavericks !!!

They should. Dirk Nowitzki and company knows what went wrong last season and it was focusing too much on the regular season when they could have rested their guys some more in the stretch before the playoffs; from their coach Avery Johnson's point of view, he should have learned a few more lessons from his mentor Don Nelson. They should all be better this season, and if people think they were a very dangerous team last season (they decimated a lot of their opponents last season, finishing them by ten or more points), they should know that the Mavericks are even more dangerous this year, with Nowitzki coming off an MVP year, Jerry Stackhouse's increased role as a starter, the danger of a fresh Jason Terry off the bench, and the development of Josh Howard and Devin Harris.
