Wow, was this a busy busy day! I got up at dawn went to Church..I try to go to daily Mass and then was to work.. I really enjoy my work.. I work for a Payroll Company called Priority Pay Payroll..recently I got a $250 raise on my paycheck every two weeks..
I took a break in between and headed to Dollar General..Seems its hard to keep up with the cats..they eat eat eat.
Then I did some work on several of my webpages..Trying to integrate "adbrite" and another site's html that pays you to have their videos on your site.
And Now I am here on mylot, with all my good friends.
I decided i need some more relaxing time..no better place then with all my mylot friends;)

Hi littlefranciscan! Wow, congratulations on your $250 raise. You deserve it! Well, my day is just starting. On this side of the globe, it is just 8 in the morning and i am just starting to sort out dirty clothes because I will be doing our laundry today but I momentarily peeked here in mylot on what is in store for me. hehe.. So, my day will just be a laundry day, nothing really exciting but will be very, very happy indeed if it will all be done at the end of the day. LOL! Take care and have a nice day.

Ah..you never know what can happen with that laundry..I remember reading this scary fictional short story about someone going to the laundrymat..They were there all alone and the machines became human like and starting spitting out the clothing and moving along the floor;) boooooh

Let's see, I got up this morning and showered, cared for the dogs, then went to work. Stopped at Dunkin Donuts on the way, needed some ice coffee. Got to work about 9, stayed at the 1st location until about 2:50, then jumped in the van to drive the 30 miles to the 2nd location.
At the 2nd location, I ran a fire drill, cooked dinner, cleaned a bedroom - washing sheets, pillows, blankets, etc. Cleaned up after dinner and worked with my guys - I worked with developmentally disabled adults - they did some puzzles and music and play doh. Then I passed meds, folded laundry, emptied the dishwasher and made them snack. Cleaned up again.
Left there about 10:45, drove 35 minutes home, played with the dogs and here I am.
Yesterday was pretty much the same. The good thing is for the 1st time in months, I went a full day without being hit. Abot 3 weeks ago, I got a concussion.

Wow, you are getting up so early for work. What kind of work do you do? Ran a fire drill ..You really have me curious now;) Sounds like you are a careprovider or a nurse in a nursing home or something like that??? Very productive day by the way;)

I work with developmentally disabled adults.
Several days a week, I work at the habilitation center - where we try to teach them vocational skills and work on the fundamentals of education and self-sufficiency. For my full-time work, I work in a residence with 4 men.
I need to work a lot of OT, the pay is so low, I can't make my bills.

My days always goes calm and smooth by the grace of God. In office too I have a wonderful atmosphere and try myself not to give myself into temptatations.

I had to go to the downtown part of my college campus to work on a project for one of my classes. There was some miscommunication with my partner about times and what not, so I got a tad frustrated because she ended up leaving at a certain time which meant she left me behind. I had a way to get home, but it was just frustrating due to the state of the day because it was a bleary, rainy day that would just not quit. Then I grabbed lunch to go, ate at the apartment, fooled around online and took a nap before dinner.

So sorry you had a little disappointment and were left behind. The dreary, rainy day sure did help brighten up matters either did it..Lucky you..that you got yourself a nap in.

Today, I did... not a lot. Laundry. Dishes. Played with and took care of my son all day. Talked to a friend via messenger much of the time I was online, so I didn't really do a lot on mylot, even though I had opened it thinking to do so.
Right now I'm listening to the soundtrack from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode, talking on mylot, and waiting for a friend to come online. Trying to relax, after spending all day with my son. As much as I love the little boy, it gets exhausting chasing him all day. I don't see how people with multiple kids do it.

I have never watched "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" .. Is it a nice show? Relaxing is really something we all need but very rarely take..isn't this so. I have found that going to sleep earlier in the evening and closing my eyes a tad during the day really helps me to relax..Prayer, however is my number one natural tranquilizer;)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my favorite show of all time... I have all 7 seasons on DVD. It's one of those supernatural/horror type things, but the character development is awesome. I was young when it was actually on tv, and the characters started out in high school, so I could easily relate to some of them. Not to mention that I had crushes on a couple of the stars. =)
Mmm prayer of a sort works for me as well, usually.

So how do you like skype? Is the reception clear? I had someone call me on skype and it sounded like it was a regular telephone..How are the prices?
How far are you from hitting the $10 mark?
