I live in the USA and I feel lucky. I don't feel like our government is corrupt or unreliable or unfair or anything. But did you know what U.S has done? In the history books you read about when settlers first came and pushed the indians away from all these land that belonged to them. Then we inslaved Africans. Afterwards we didn't help the jewish at WW2 (not until late but we could have done more to stop the damage) I read about all these and feel so angry

Dear animegirl I have read in history texts one of your former presidents saying,it isnot important what the country gave you but what matters is what you gave to your nation.

No country in the world can boast that it is corruption-free country. Probably the level of corruption is so high, you may not fit in there to experience it.
I love my country, i.e. India. The reason I love, is it has one of the oldest civilizations in the world. My religion was evolved here and I am proud of it. I do not bother much about the politicians and corruption, because it has been institutionalized.
I also love my country because I like the people who are friendly, helpful and have great traditions.
