How Did You Learn About Mylot?

Everyone had to learn about mylot somehow? How did you learn your way around? Who introduced you to it originally? Who helped you with things when you first joined? Was there anyone or did you just have to feel your way around? Share your stories and lets hear what you have to share. For me it was my sister who got me into mylot and showed me around and such. She was very helpfull and such and I helped repay her by helping with her site and profile and such (once I learned figured out how to switch things over).
I have included a little something I made. A book for those that haven't quite found their way around very well yet. (btw the book is just a joke so please no bad posts lol).

I found out about myLot through an article I read on Helium.com. I decided to check it out and am really glad I did. So far I have figured out everything I've done on my own.

I was told about MyLot from a friend of mine, but I managed learn everything about the system myself. I first read the FAQ and some useful things I could find and learnt everyting very easy. Now I can find my way here very easy and don't need any help. :)

Actually, I heard about MyLot from my Hubby. He was already a member and had been for quite a while. He got me to join as his referral and then kind of walked me through joining up and whatever questions I had.
By the way, I love the MyLot for Dummies book...lol. I think we all need it at one moment or another.

No one helped me out here when I first arrived. I managed to get here by a blog of a person that I do not know who, who has a referral link in her blog. I did researches on my own too. I also read all the guidelines before making a step. I remember my first day here, I tried responding to a discussion, but what I did is commented on a response in a discussion. Another thing that happened is I became alerted when after 3 hours my earning still do not increase. I made another research and I found out that it is updated every 24 hours. It is really fun here.

I figure it out by myself.then when I had some questions I did put it here on discussion and people will just help me.there are every day comeing new people to mylot and we are helping each other, how we can.But i think mylot is very good discussion and it easy to browse here.And I find it thorught the helium.Somebody was writing there about this site and I wanted look and I fall in love since then.

a friend of mine, daryl. she told about it and i find it interesting. i ask her few tips of how to get it going w/o running out batteries, you know what i mean.
