That is great that you are learning to play. I absolutely love the guitar. I could sit and listen to my husband play for hours while he was home. There is just something about an accustic that is soothing and relaxing on certain songs. Good luck with your learning. I'm sure you'll do great and God bless

I like listening to a guitar.
My BF wanted one for Christmas last year. I could not find one I could afford by Christmas. I did not want to spend over $50 or $75 because I knew he would end up propping it in the corner and not playing, and all I could find were $300-$400.
So I got him one for his B-day in Jan. and I was right, only it was under his bed after a month!!

He doesn't play it. A string broke about a month after he got it and it has been laying under the bed ever since.
He did ask for it, actually the year before he asked but I didn't get it because I knew he would never learn to play it. He thinks he could do it with no one teaching him!

Hi marciascott! Do you know that this is the first discussion that I made a response? Hahaha.. Just Sharing! Anyway, I do love listening to acoustic guitar. Although I don't know how to play it, I want to learn to. A lot of my friends play the guitar during their leisure time and they told me that it is easy to learn and it's enjoyable too! Goodluck on your new guitar!! :) Take Care!

I really want to learn how to play guitar but the problem is I don't have time. I am studying to play piano, attending judo class and I have to study. I am a college student and it's really exhausting!

I think that we do very well at the things we have always wanted to do. I had wanted to learn to type all my life. I bought an electric typewriter when I was younger and tried to learn from a college book that I had purchased.
It just didn't work out. I also to a class in college and that did not work either. Then, I got a typing tutor software for my new computer and I practiced and practiced. I love to type so much and I am really good at it. You will do just great with the guitar, Best wishes.

I make a lot of mistakes. Yes I think I will do well becase it is something that I like. Have a nice week-end, Oh, by the way My best friend is here from California, she will be here for 3 weeks.

I just love playing the guitar and listening to it too. But I haven't touched my instrument for more than 6 years now. I've lost all the practice I had and also lost control of my fingers. I couldn't master the instrument because, I couldn't find a good teacher. Hmm...That was my luck. But it's my favorite instrument.

It is very relaxing, I will get jobs at Day care singing to the kids, maybe in the schools, at my church. I might even be a Solo Guitarist.

I also enjoy guitar music. I find it to be very romantic and would love to learn how to play it myself but I simply have no musical talent whatsoever so I just listen to it a lot instead. It's just so relaxing.

Yeeeah, I love to listening a guitar.
I always wanted to play, and now I now.
When I listen to a good guitar solo, something comes inside me, and I have a good sensation, my mind starts a trip, and comes an uncontrollabe wish to take my poor guitar and starts other trip, but I can't, cuz I'm not a great guitarrist. But sometime I will be.hehe.
