I am now studying in the continue education center of foreign cultue and communication in Zhejiang University.I major in English.Because I failed in the National Collage Enterance Exam,so I came here for my study. But long before,a female teacher who teaches us law said that we are all bad students,or wewouldn't come here.what's more, she said"Why there is such a big difference betweem you and the students who succeeded in the collage enterance?"The reason why she said like that someone made some noise in her class that day.But we had now books on that day,how could us listen to a teacher carefully without a textbook? So Most of my classmates begin to argue with her.Even though I didn't say a word,I feel angry.Maybe what she said is right in some way,but her words hurt the students'feeling.Anyway a good teacher won't do this kind of thing,I think.Actually,I think a good teacher should correct students' fault in a right way. What do you think about this?

i think that the teacher was just streesed from the noise and you should forget what she said... it doesnt mean that shes a bad teacher...

Hi anniewangyin, I know that it is very easy to be angry now, but that is not the way to go. This teacher should not have said what she did, but we never know how another feels or why she was upset at that time. Continue to do your best and look for good points in the teacher because she surly has them. I know it is very easy for me to say this because I am not in your situation, but I truly believe it is the best advise. Blessings.

Annie, you can look at this in three ways. The first way is that she is trying to toughen you up and improve your discipline. Even without books, you should listen, and learn from her experience. It is rude to deliberately distract during a lecture, and by the time you guys are college age, you should know better, or the others should know better. The next way to look at it is to just assume that she is a bad teacher, who does not know how to get the best out of her students, and does not care how they feel. It is okay to feel angry, regardless of whether you believe she is a bad teacher or not, as you are offended. Do not let your bad feelings get in the way of a good education, though. The third way to look at this situation is to think that perhaps, in addition to believing you are bad students because you failed the National College Entrance Exam, she might believe she is a bad teacher for not being able to teach in a more prestigious college. If that is the case, you cannot change much, because she doubts herself as well as you. I hope you enjoy your education and get a lot out of the opportunity you have.
