is there a possibility that a filipino fighter will fight manny pacquiao? does manny want to fight a filipino fighter?

it is possible,but before he can fight a filipino there is still a lot of good boxer to fight and right now there no filipino fighter in his weight category that can make a match for a championship so he better fight first the mexicans and americans...

Yes he does. But it is unranked and unofficial because it's just a spar with his Filipino trainers and Filipino conditioners. LOL.

maybe he will. i sure hope so and when he does lose to that fighter.. that fighter who beat him will become really famous. hehe :D

Ilovegigi, I'm sure that is possible in the future! For now, there is no Filipino boxer in the same weight division who has gone close to Manny Pacquiao. Look at the Mexican boxers, there are times when a Mexican fighter has to fight a fellow boxer.

Manny said it categorically that he won't fight another Filipino boxer after defeating a Filipino boxer in 2000. He saw it pointless to be pitted with a fellow Filipino. Since then, he indeed never fought any Filipino boxer. Then a year later, he won the IBF Superbantam from Ledwaba. The rest is history, they say. But Manny's history is still raging on..
