Is our Media really sensible and responsible?

We have been watching many news channels and many a times we feel that certain news were given undue importance. In many cases we find that the news being shown on TV news channel will carry wrong message or will do no good to our country. I have few examples of this. One is here: Some years back, the terrorists had hijacked plane of Indian Airlines. The relatives of the hostages were protesting it and trying to persuade the govenmnet to give in to the demands to the terrorists so their relatives would be released by them. Now this protest was being shown live on some TV channels. This would do nothing but would increase the evil moral of the terrorists only. There are many more such examples available. Do you think that our media is doing right thing by showin such news?

Well thats not really sensible, even i felt the same. Media should think twice before telecasting shows, its effect on the public and country.

Most of the times, the media just makes things worst. Since the media are everywhere, they are believed by everyone. They make simple news phenomenal. Especially when it's about the show business.

Yes i completely agree with you. These news channels will do anything to attract people.For example the wedding ceremony of Abhishek bachan and aishwarya was there for a whole day. were they doing something nobody has done? it is for the people to decide which news to watch and which not to? its equally our fault too.
