Hi Betsy, You are correct. Gilbert is part of the East Valley, just outside of Phoenix. I've only been here a couple of months and love it so far. Have not gotten to Phoenix, except for the Airport so far. But do plan on going to the Home and Garden show next weekend. It will be my first time in the city. I am sure I will love it.

Sorry not to have seen this when you posted it blue... I love the idea of a meet up. I actually just joined meetup.com last week and found several "groups" in the area I am interested in. I work in Mesa now, just north of Baseline on Alma School Rd. Maybe we could do lunch too. Let me know if either of you are interested. Angela
