Prince William is without doubt the most popular member of the British Royal Family.
William, or Willis, as members of his family call him,was born on the 21st of June, 1982. He is shy and more introspective than his younger brother Harry. William is apparently uncomfortable with the press and avoids publicity, so I have no idea what he is really like. The Royal Family carefully controls public access to William's life and William would like to be seen as 'just an ordinary young man.' Do you belive that? Can you imagine what it's to be Prince William and would you like to be him?
THE ADVANTAGES
William is rich. He belongs to one of the richest families in the world, so he's never going to have any financial problems.
William is very good-looking. He's tall and blonde and looks like his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, who died in 1997. He has thousands of teenage female fans and someday Tatler magazine voted him the 'hottest date of the year.'
William is athletic. He went to one of Britain's most elite private schools, Eton College, where he played rugby and football and was captain of the swimming team. He also likes waterpolo and he enjoys going to the cinema, listening to music and playing computer games.
William is intelligent. He got twelve GCSEs and three A-levels at Eton: an A in Geography, a B in Art and C in Biology. Before he went to St Andrews University in Scotland, he had a gap year and went to Patagonia in Chile as a volunteer with Raleigh International. There he taught English, did community projects and mixed with ordinary people.
THE DISADVENTAGES
William is public property. Almost everyone he meets, anywhere in the world, knows every detail of his family history.
William has no privacy. He can't go where he wants when he wants. He can't go dancing in a club with his friends. There are reporters outside his house who follow him everywhere.
William can't choose his career. He's almost definitely going to be King of England, and it's not an easy job.
William has no freedom. Most of the time someone else decides what he does.
So what do you think?

I'm quite happy being a girl.
Sometimes I don't think Prince William enjoys being Prince William and what fun would it be to be someone who doesn't always enjoy being himself.
and by that I just mean that he doesn't necessarily like being a prince and the things that come with that...which is understandable.
I think that Harry is actually pretty popular too. Harry always has been since he was a little red headed baby to a blonde and a brunette. So I also think it's unfair to leave out Harry.
Anyhow, Prince William was born about a month after me. So my mom, like most mothers, said I was going to marry him. Of course, that's very unlikely for more reasons than one but this doesn't stop my mom from buying me books and things about him and the royal family.

For me yes I'd like to be Prince William, I don't care about his disadventages I care only for his good things that he has, inspite of what you're saying for his privacy it is like anyone of the actors not the prince only, or any popular person has the same issue of the prince disadvanteges so why not to take his phds and his popularity and one day he will be the King.

Sincerely I don't want to be like that such way of life. Talking about money, Tigerwoods is better than Prince William. And more admirable, freely to go anywhere in this world on his own private executive jet.
Prince William is on the throne system, he must be there for what ever reason. But I am sad for him, frankly speaking, he should prove nowadays that King's Life really works for him to achieve his highest level in academic learning. At least for one Ph. D.. The pure Ph. D.
