My theory is that anything that asks you to send them money to make money....is a scam.

I tried this many years ago. It is a scam. You send in your money and your are sent a letter to send out. but You have to then buy a mailing list of people to send the scam to after you have had it copied. don't waste your money. If you find something that looks to good to be true it probaly is. another scam is for you to make things and send them back to the company, but your work does not ever meet the companies standard. Check with the better business boure befor sening any money to any of those companies.

Envelope stuffing is a classic and very old scam. Nobody needs to hire people to stuff envelopes for them. They have machines that do that for much less than it would cost a company to hire people to do that. They ask you to send in money and then they send something telling you to promote the scam to others. Don't fall for it.

i still remember my first get rich quick scam, envelope stuffing.
at the end of the day. it's my own money that i stuff not the one i get. the cost of stamps and envelopes and effort is not worth it and you have to sell something to get commissions.
Nowadays there are still many scammers out there waiting for a quick buck but i have learned my lesson somewhat the unpleasant way .
Thanks for opening this thread so that people will know too.

This is a SCAM!! Run just as quick as you can and spend your $$ you would invest doing something else somewhere. I spent $100 to be try this, and nothing in return. So unless you know people personally wanting to do this under you, you will never make anything from it. This is one they need to post more often on the News, etc. to keep people from being Scammed on.

Once,i was lured by one such bait, and i wanted to do a program, and i told this to my friend, and he warned me this as a scam, but i still ignored his advice, and joined the stuffing program, and only to end losing 500 rupees,(nearly $15)

I was scammed big time by one of those sites before. I got a letter in the mail about this great opportunity to stuff envelopes. I had just quit as a hair dresser and was desperate for a quick job. I sent the money in, which wasn't cheap, and waited on my supplies to come. First of all, I had to buy all the envelopes and all the stamps. I did and mailed my first set of 200 letters. I waited for a check and the next set of my supplies and they never came. I called the company and it ended up not even existing as a real business. I lost out on a lot of money and now I always check to make sure it's a legitimate company.

I dont think that there are any envelope stuffing programs that are legitimate. I personally have been scamed about two or three times before and i never got anything in the mail after i sent my start up fee. I would strongly reccomend doing other programs to make money stuffing envelopes just do not work.
