Do "lucky Numbers" really bring good luck?

Some people think that certain numbers can bring them good luck.The nember "8" is a typical example as the pronunciation of "8" is like that of "becoming rich" in Chinese.However, as the number "4" pronunces like "death" in Chinese,people think it would bring bad luck.But I don't care it.What do you think?

nah, my lucky number is 20 and i always include it in the lottery but not even once it was picked whenever i played;-)
