I have always been suspicious of fortune telling! I have been tempted to call the numbers on the TV to get a reading! Have you ever talked to a psychic? What was your results? Do you think it is all bogus?

I have called the numbers you see on tv and all they are really good at is keeping you on that line to rack up the charge. I have visited others and most were vague or gave generalized readings. The only one that gave me very believable comments and perdictions was the one i went to a few months ago. She gave exact details of where I lived, why i was there, she knew my husbands name (and this wasnt around where i live at by any means, it was over 2 hours away). There are some awesome people out there and then there are those trying to make a living.

In the Old Testament, God commanded the Israelites to kill those doing such and similar works. We are now under the New Testament and we are free to do whatever we like. Personally I do not believe in those for it's just logic, how would a person like anyone of us know about the future. Those are just like guessing games and many people enjoy hearing words itching the ears. And some make money doing such.

The "fortune tellers" on TV aren't all that trustworthy. They always have in small print on the screen that it is all for entertainment, which means, try at your own risk (money). I think there are real people with real abilities, but the ones on TV or in public that charge money are just doing their job.

I havent ever done it and yes I think most of it is bogus. I do believe there are psychics out there but if they are doing it for money than most likley they are bogus.

I would never call one of those numbers nor would I do one of the online types either..Partly because I have issues with ppl charging for that sort of thing, I think it opens the door to being less than honest and accurate and also becuase I dont need to...I read Tarot cards and have for some time, I also do various other forms of Divination so I have no need to use the "service" of someone else...How have my results been? Right on the money whether reading for myself or for someone else...

I'm suspicious of the highly commercialized famous psychics. I just feel that there is a point beyond which even if you had some kind of talent, it becomes tainted by such greed and fame. I have had some very accurate divination and such done for me personally, by people who are not famous for it. I have in fact done some very accurate divination and such for others, for that matter. I believe that most people have some form of spiritual talent, though it may manifest in different ways, and not everyone is good at divination specifically. I have called the numbers and such a couple of times, but I've been disappointed. I think that kind of thing works best when either: A: the person you are reading is present; or B: the person you are reading for is someone you know well, either online, over the phone, in person, whatever. So I don't have a lot of trust in people I have never met or talked to before trying to read me.

My belief, brookehaun, is that psychics are just like everyone else-there are good ones and bad ones. I have talked with a psychic many years ago and it was kind of scary for me. I really don't like the idea of knowing my future. Still, I think a big part of it is belief. You have to have faith in the psychic you choose.(:

Hi for fun I went to a psychic. Personally what was said was interesting but ended up a load of crap. I do however think that there are people who have abilities not every one else has, like the people who help police catch murders or find missing people. It was an intesting expeience but I am glad I did not pay alot. I would say try it for fun and don't pay alot.
