Ever visited a psychic?

I haven't been to a psychic yet, but I have lots of friends who have. Some of them claim that the predictions of the psychics they consulted came true, while others tell me that it's all baloney. How about you, ladykristinn, have you ever consulted one? If you did, did his/her predictions come true?

To be "psychic" means the ability to percieive things through extra-sensory perception. There is nothing un-natural or super-natural about developing the senses and awareness. A person with psychic abilities will be able to sense things that the undeveloped person can not. As with anything else, there are psychics that are very good at what they do and very develped and then there are frauds.

I have never visited a psychic. Besides the high charge, I don't believe it. In the Old Testament, God commanded the Israelites to kill those doing such and similar works. We are now under the New Testament and we are free to do whatever we like. Personally I do not believe in those for it's just logic, how would a person like anyone of us know about the future. Those are just like guessing games and many people enjoy hearing words itching the ears. And some make money doing such that's perhaps why there are many psychics, etc.

It wasn't me but I accompanied my sister to go to a well-known psychic here in the Philippines. I won't be mentioning his name but he's very popular. My sister paid thousands of pesos just to confirm something. The psychic's predicitons all came true. I didn't believe it because personally I am against it. I would say that these were just coincidental.
