Let me draw the line based on personal experience:
You are infatuated with someone when -
1. The relationship happens suddenly, after meeting once or twice.
2. You depend on your partner to feel good about yourself.
3. One of you may have more to get from the relationship than to give to it.
4. One of you may become jealous of the other's activities or friends.
5. The relationship is usually based on physical attraction.
Meanwhile, you are in love when -
1. You think of the other person as well as yourself.
2. You continue to grow as independent human beings, while the relationship becomes stronger and deeper.
3. The relationship develops slowly, naturally and sincerely.
4. There is honesty and trust between you.
5. Both of you can accept the fact that neither is perfect.
6. Each of you continues in other parts of your life: family, work, ideas, and other friends..
7. The relationship remains as strong in painful, difficult times as in happy times.

Getting attracted towards someone just looking at his or her outer beauty is infatuation.
Feeling crazy to get something and lossing interest in it as soon as you have got it is infatuation.......
Expecting love in return of love is also infatuation...
when love is only lust then it is infatuation
Real love is where you are impressed by the inner qualities of a person.
where you are crazy about someone and when you get it you thank God and remain faithful and keep your promises till the last moment of your life. And even if you don't get it, you don't curse, but pray to God for happiness of that person.
Love is caring for a person without expecting anything in return
Love is pain that you feel inside your heart, pain that bring tears to your eyes but still you smile because true love gives real satisfaction......even if it is with you only in your memories.........Love is just love.
