This is our show... OI!
OI! is a local tv variety show of GMA7 in Cebu City. We cater to the local talents and give them the tv exposure. We believe that Cebuano talents hold a potent force that will shape philippine mainstream entertainment. It is just that Manila being the center of the entertainment industry have years of domination. But the fact that many of our cebuano talents had also conquered manila, then it would not be impossible that more visayans and cebuanos will be craving for their own visayan and cebuano talents to hit the centerstage. Oi is one of the instrument to acheive this goal. AS always, we want to start somewhere and start something, rather than be mere spectators. It's only by doing that we reach our goals.

Oi truly seems to be the perfect venue for Cebuanos and Visayans alike to further hone their talents. I must say that I only have praises for programs such as this one because they give opportunities for growth to those who really deserve them. Oftentimes, what an untapped potential or a talented Cebuano (or any Filipino or human being, for that matter) really needs to reach its optimum state is an impetus. Oi could certainly be a good impetus for Cebuanos and Visayans to perfect their craft and eventually achieve their dreams. Cheers to Oi and to all tv programs that essentially seek to recognize and promote the Filipino talents.
