Do you practice forgive and forget

hi there ladykristinn yes i do believe in forgive and forgot because like jesus forgot my sins i will do the same i know it is hard but if i want jesus to forgive me than i should forgive others thankyou for this discussion

Hello there. I also believe in forgiving but never forgetting. We should all the forgiving for God has forgiven our sins so we should be forgiving to others too. If not, we have no right to ask God or anyone else for forgiveness. However, we should never forget. Life is about learning. We should never forget what we learn from each experience in life.

The simple answer is NO. I forgive but never forget. I reckon most people have this view, as to forgive is a good thing, what's the point of burdening ourselves with endless stress. I never forget as again most people wouldn't, it's a memory and it's hard to ignore.

I believe in giving people second chanses. At least those who askes for one. I am likely to forgive them if they try to better themselves. For the ones that ask forgivness I think there are more than two chances as well. But they will have to live with me remembering. because I will not forget. I will not bring it up or hold it against them ones I have forgiven, but I will not forget it.

Wow i really love to advice forgive and forget, and try diehard to put it in practical use, but i just cannot forgive easily if it hurts me too much, but somehow i gradually think i forgave that person. But forget is never happenning with me i just cant forget, and if we cant forget it really means we never forgave isnt it?

Forgive and forget? Well I'm all for the forgive,but when someone does you wrong you have a hard time forgetting what they did wrong to you,Because always have it in your head what if they do it again?I don't care who you are forgetting is a very hard thing to do.I would never expect someone to forget if i done something wrong to them,because just because someone says "oh yes i forgave you"don't mean they forgot, that simple.
