Do you find that you cannot log on without checking what emails have arrived?

How many times a day do you check your emails?
I have several automated systems for keeping my rapidly increasing amount of emails I get everyday, throughout the day.
I use a chat application called Trillian to monitor my yahoo, msn, icq and aol email accounts. This flags me with usually the subject line in a small window so I can see who it is from. When I want to actually sort through my mail I use mail washer which is handling about 7 email accounts. So much easier than logging on to them all individually.

I feel that software would be very useful for me, the person, who has many email id's for different purposes. I have been logging into each email id's every now and then and hence wasting precious time. I am going to give it a try and see how it works and how it saves time for me.

I have written a review on Mailwasher on the Helium site if you would like some more information. You can either follow the link on my Profile to my blog and you can pick up the link there or, do a search on Helium for either my handle or for Mailwasher. This inability to cut and paste is a pain!!

Checking e-mails are the first thing I do when logging in on the net, it's my normal routine. Yahoo is the only e-mail provider I use for primary purposes, I only check my gmail twice a week since I didn't used it to receive important mails.
Most of the e-mails I receive came from mylot, I didn't join any site nor didn't activate any notifications on some sites I am affiliated at to avoid receiving any unnecessary e-mails..

I use msn messenger service to instantly access mails.I don't know the technical side of all what you said.So whenever I login I login my msn messenger also so that I will get to know about my incoming mals on my desktop instantly.

I check mine every time that I take a break. I heard that Trillian is really good but I've never used it. I finally gave up and just stick to MSN to chat with friends and family members. I freelance so I have to check my business account quite frequently in hopes of getting messages about my work. ;-) Good discussion.

I checked my emails 2-3 times a day. first when I wake up in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon and the last time is at night. I have my YM on the whole day so I know how much emails are coming in. it sucks sometimes especially if mostly are junk emails.
