In HUngary there is not Halloween celebrating. 1st November is rather the day of goners. We visit the cemeteries, and we take flowers and ropes to the graves.
Since 1990 the AMerican culture and custom tries to enter into HUngary too, but I do not think that the Halloween celebrating will be accepted and used like it is in America.

Sorry for my bad English (I found this word in online dictionary, great) :D
I meant we take flowers and wreaths to the graves.

We don't really have any traditions...each Halloween can be really different.
Up until 5 or 6 years ago my mom, sometimes my dad, me and my sister would talk all over the place with our nieghbor hood friends and their parents, getting lots of candy! That's pretty basic =P
But one year we didn't go trick or treating; my mom rented me and my sister a couple of movies and bought us both big bags of candy!
Now for the past couple of years (and this year) I'll be passing out candy, but I still dress up for fun! lol. I'll be wearing the same costume I wore last year though...it's still cool! ;P It's an Egyptian Goddess.
*Sometimes I'll walk with my nieces for a while while they trick or treat too! :)*

That sounds like fun.
I love your costume.
I used to love dressing up but haven't done it in forever, I sure if I looked in my closet I could find something to through together as a costume, I might just do that. I don't know.
We're hoping that we are gonna get some Trick or Treaters this year, we just moved into trailer park and I'm not sure how Halloween is around here, but we also plan on taking our son out for a little while too.

That sounds fun! I'm sure you'll get trick or treaters! Kids can always sniff out where the candy is! lol.
The only reason I'm dressing up this year is because I still have the costume, so, why not? Plus last year the kids loved when I answered the door. All the litte girls were like "I like your dress." It's so cute! Plus...my golden retriver gets to be with me, she can be my egyptian goddess' dog...she gets no costume though! lol

I do not celebrate Halloween. I am a Christian and I have to follow the Christian religion in the Holy Bible, not the Catholic doctrines set forth in the Catechism laid down by the Roman Catholic Church hierarchy. Halloween is a Catholic teaching.
