Teach Daughters to Pee Standing Up? / myLot

At what age should daughters be taught to urinate standing up? Obviously it's a useful skill; has anyone run into any problems or resistance on this issue?

I have to mop up pee often enough with my daughters sitting down! I can't even imagine the mess if they were to do that standing up. I do think that all girls should know how to squat in the woods if necessary. You just never know when you might need to go potty and are not near a toilet. So how exactly is this done? Do you use a funnel? LOL
