How much do you spend on Halloween?

I read that US consumers will spend over 5 billion dollars on Halloween this year. I have to say I contribute my share. I buy costumes, decorations, candy, and host a party every year. I even decorate my office at work. I love the holidays but notice every year gets bigger and bigger for spending on Halloween. How much do you put into Halloween?

really american people spend so much money for halloween clebration..i don't wy but i always thought that halloween is not so big celebration such as yes ok..an occasion to have fun or some tricks like that!!in reality i think i won't spend for halloween also because i'm not from us and in europe.,mycountry is italy,celebration are not so big..in reality here the halloween as americn thought it was celebrated just in the last year,inn fact when i was a child this celebration practically dindìt exist!!
so having a good halloween shopping and celebration to all american consumers..and having much fun...or better scary i must say?eeheh
