How do you communicate with someone far away from you ?

Would you like to write letters or use the phone?
As for me,i sedom write letters to my friends who are far away from me,cause it is not only trublesome but also a waste of time.Sometimes I call my fiends,but the phone fee is a little bit expensive if you are on a phone for a long time,lol.So i think the best way is to use internet to communicate with them,most of us have our own computers,and it's extremely convient to talk to each other or write emails online.By doing this,you don't need to spend too much money.I think communicating through internet is my favorite way to contact my fiends.How about you,which way do you prefer?

My husband works abroad and also some of my relatives... we don't write letters anymore and we don't make a lot of phone calls because they are quite expensive... so right now our way of communicating is throught text messeges and the internet...via email, yahoo messenger, and chikka... it is cheaper that way and we can also see each other though the web cam...

There are 4 ways of doing it:
1. If the other person is well off, give him a miss call. He will call you.
2. You call him once and talk to him. Next time ask him to call and you talk.
3. Two of your fix webcamera and talk through internet which is cheaper.
4. If nothing works, send a 20C post paid letter.
