Ways to help raise money for a funeral for a child?

My dearest friend lost her step-son on Friday,he was 14 years old. He was getting high on freon from an airconditioning unit,and passed away,they found him the next day,his mom which who he lives with was too high to notice he was missing all night. Now my friend and he husband have to bury their son and come up with $1,300 to help cover the services and such. I don't have that much money maybe $20 or so,what are some things I could do to help raise the money for them?,they don't have it and right now they are so lost in their own mind I am not sure if they can even begin to think of ways. Thanks.
