What does my dream mean?

I was at someones house and they had a wave pool in their back yard. I got distracted and some you left the gate opened and my dog out. I immediately got out of the pool and went looking for him. I couldn't find him and I was getting paniced. I then woke up. Happily, my dog was sleeping right beside me. One more detail that may be important. The person whos yard the wave pool was in was the actress who played the captain on Star Trek Voyager. At the time I noticed the gate opened she was telling me that I could master the wave pool. She wasn't playing captain, she was just someones yard talking to me. I figure it's to weird and scary not to mean something substancial. So tell me what you think.
