Maybe if Kobe will learn to play as a team, chances are. But with the kind of play Kobe has, I think the highest accomplishment they can just achieve is Division title.

When you talk about NBA dynasties, you mean you have your team at the top of the game on every level: from the championship trophy, the franchise's management, the roster, the team staff, and the support of the home crowd. That's why when you talk about Magic Johnson's Lakers, you can call it a dynasty. When you talk about Michael Jordan's Bulls, you can call it a dynasty. When you talk about Larry Bird's Celtics and today's San Antonio Spurs, you can them dynasties. And that's also the reason why I don't think Kobe can make another dynasty with the Chicago Bulls. Yes, the Bulls franchise has done a great job of putting together youngsters and letting them develop into the players they are now. Just look at how much Kirk Hinrich and Luol Deng improved during their stay in Chicago. The problem with Bryant's move to Chicago is that it will destroy the chemistry it has built over the last few seasons. On top of that, they will have to move some players out of the team (perhaps to the Lakers or some other team that may make a three-way deal with Chicago and Los Angeles), and in most likelihood that would be one or two of the cornerstones of their current lineup (Hinrich, Deng, and Ben Gordon). Like in the Ben Wallace acquisition, the Bulls would again be getting a player starting to age (though to a lesser extent than Big Ben), and you can't really expect the Bulls to jell during their first season together. Kobe is not a very selfless player, and the Bulls is quite the opposite of that. By the time they develop some working semblance of chemistry, Kobe could possibly not have some of the explosiveness and speed that has elevated him into the player he is today. Don't get me wrong. Any team that has a Kobe Bryant on its roster is expected to make the playoffs, and even more so the Bulls who already is a good team without him; I do expect them to get a legitimate shot at the championship, but unfortunately, I don't think that's enough for them to deserve being tagged as a dynasty.

I think we should be pretty solid this year and for years to come anyway. 90 percent of the team is under 25...they're all decent. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bulls in the playoffs this year and move deep into them next year. ...of course...Kobe is sick... So yeah, I guess he could be what we need to elevate the team to 'dynasty' status.
