Do you like growing up?

when i was young, i often dreamed of growing up...no reason...maybe think the adult can do everything and wanna be like them...but when i really grown up, it seems the world is not so perfect as i ever thought, and i have to take more responsibilities, face with more situations in the daily life alone...and childhood just memories that i never reach...
sometimes i wanna go back and live in carefree...of course it just impossible...
so i try to leave every smile face to myself to make the life better...:-)

I'm glad I'm grown up. My childhood was a horrible time of abuse and neglect. I very rarely felt safe, and I spent more of my time trying to hide from my abusers than any of the fun things that I hear other people say they did during their childhood.
As an adult, I live about 1000 miles away from my family. I don't have to see them or talk to them unless I choose to. I have my own life, with friends, a husband, a child. I have food to eat, every day, anytime I want. I am safe.
So yes, I am happy to be grown up. I don't want to be a child again.

Wow, cool comment. When I was child I thought of going from home. I don't like to be there. But then, when I growing up I know I'd love to be child again. Now I realize that human never feel enough for something. Now or forever. But if my mind feel enough for something, thank God for everything. I feel that I'd love to be me..

u thought of going from home when you were a child? that sounds crazy o(n_n)o... i agree that human never feel enough for something and always want more...enjoy everyday seems to be the hardest thing...but i want...am i so greedy???

I definitely would rather be grown up than a child. Although I have fond memories of being a child. It seems that adults didn't listen much to what I had to say and I wasn't given respect. Maybe by some people, but certainly not a lot. Teachers, friends, strangers and even parents could be a real bummer sometimes. It's nice to have good memories of being young, but I wouldn't want to go back now.
Being a grown up is much harder, but the one thing I like the most about it is being able to make my own decisions. To be independent and to be able to speak my mind freely without the worry of bad consequences.

I enjoy being a child since i don't need to worry about the money things.However, being an adult is quite a exciting thing because i can control my own life, buy whatever i want, meet whoever i like...
so, people have diverse happies and problems at different ages,what we can do is accepting it and enjoying the lives!

i can not agree you any more ,i also unwant to grow up .because there is too much trouble in this period .i want go back my childrenhood ...but it is impossibie ........what we nend to do now is make our life more courful
we should happy all the times ,right ?
