I always saw children on televisions, movies, and concerts. I found them adoring and really entertaining. But it really makes me wonder: will you allow your child to enter showbiz?
Yah, it is promising a big money, a fame, or a very significant position later on.
But it seems that it deprives the children of normal life. Of privacy. And of ability to enjoy their time in studying and playing rather than working most of the time.

I´m a child deffender and your question is really good.
Parents should be a child´s first defense, but it seems there is a lot of people out there that only thinks about themselfs, or about money, that what worries me!
If my kid wanted to enter the showbiz because he/she likes a lot what he´s doing, and these activities don´t colide with the rest of his normal life, I would let him/her. I would not let him exagerate, that´s for sure!
In my opinion, missing school to play, not having any timetables or a defined routine, or authority, that´s what causes great mess on kids.

Usually it is not the children decision, but the parents decision. The parents want their children to work.
So it is not as you say. They do not LET him/her do it. They make him/her do it. A child wants to do it only if they parents persuade him/her.

If my child is capable of the show, I would let him take part in the show to develop his talent. I think that it is good for him to have activities like that though it deprives the normal life. It is worth it if he could have fun and learn lots of things from it.

You have good reasons there! I hope it is really something that will teach children and have fun at the same time.

I think that this would all depend on the child and parents and how far parents are willing to let their kids do in showbiz i think you have to draw the line when they miss out on school and being children they must have this precious time to develop
