suggestions pls for losing 5-pounds mighty fast....LOL

hi... any suggestions for losing 5 pounds? i have been sedentary lately because of a long period of break...hahaha...i will be returning to work next month since it is still semestral break. what are your suggestions? hahaha... thanks!

To the above comment I would add to start doing some exercise, like running, biking, or swimming. Do it for at least half an hour each day, and each day increase the intensity. The sudden change from your sedentary life to everyday exercise will jump start your weight loss.

Definitley. Look I'm on adiet right now. I use to weigh about 210 pounds. Im at 185 just after 1 month of eating right and excercising. I say walk or un about 4-5 miles a day and eat a non fat meal. for about a week you should loose the 5 pounds easily. If you really need to loose the weight, you could try steam rooms. GOodluck with whatever you do :)

Have you ever considered the cabbage soup diet? It's basically chopping up a whole cabage, adding vetegable stock, carrots, onion, and garlic and eating it for about 5 days. You can eat fruit in between and drink lots of water. It's sort of a detox for the body. It really does slim you down quick albeit temporarily. Try it. :)

summer218 's idea is a good one but after the initial loss to KEEP IT OFF try eating according to your bloodtype so whatever it is you have eaten in the past that stayed on hips, thighs, behind and so on can be eliminated properly. If your bloodtype lacks certain enzymes that breakdown certain foods eat plenty of them, if not avoid those foods even if they are healthy taste good whatever. hmmm...try no carb for the whole day. that would get down by a pound a day. trust me it works. but then trust me too, you will get really grouchy. hehe just try to cut down on your meals and snacks--like decrease everything that you normally take. then walk some extra steps, like going down the jeep at Jollibee lasalle and walking to your classroom. it will help you sweat it out and burn calories. also, walk from print on to your tutee's house instead of riding a trisikad. will save u money and get you spending on those calories. i lost weight before doing just that. and of course reducing my food intake. my problem now is that i have so much cravings. i would like to reduce my cravings. any suggestions?

hahahaha... as long as it is not sweltering hot, i do love to walk. regarding the walking home thing, i mean... it's really dark when i go home... and its the safest neighborhood.. so i rather, take a ride home... maybe when i go back to work, i will lose weight a bit...hhehe... wah! just a few more days, then my vacation is over....huhuhu... how about eating sugarless candies.. i mean, to stave off hunger... drink lots of hot teas... the bitter the better... hahaha.... unless of course, you like bitter curd... i love bitter curd with eggs, onions and tomatoes! my friends and family find me weird....

Hello, My genuine suggestion is to start walking. Just brisk walk 5 days a week for at least half an hour, you will definitely lose inches and weight. I am telling you this from my own experience. When you walk, hold your tummy tight, and walk. This will help you in the process. Also with walking you will lose your appetite to eat more. This will surely help you. Take care and stay healthy.

Hello, I have a fantastic diet for you!!You eat all and well but with a plan for each day!!The rule is :you eat all but only fat is olive oil!!Plan for this diet is for 7 days!!First Day:You eat for breakfast lot of fruits,for supper vegetables with olive oil,and fresh salad/you can eat a lot!no meter/,afternoon snack fresh fruits,for supper again vegetables with no fat cheese!!You have to drink lot if green tea/about 2 lit. a day/Second Day/meat day/:for breakfast lot of fruits,for supper half of chicken /you can prepare as you want but only use olive oil/,lot of fresh salad and 2 cooking potatoes!!,for dinner again chicken with salad/don't forget green tea/3.Day /fish day/ breakfast fresh fruits,for supper 1/2 kg of fish prepare with olive oil,fresh salad and 2 potatoes ,for dinner fish again!!During the day you can it fresh fruits if you need more food!!4. losing weight at fast rate is not good for your health.Walk about 5 km per day, avoid maximum sugar possible,make your intake of your food around 50%,consult doctor too.

I know you posted this a while ago. But I just wanted to share this with you anyway. I am haveing a gastric bypass and before you can have that you have to loose a certain percet of weight. One of the things they have you do is go on a liquid diet of 800 calories two weeks prior to the surgery. They want the patients to begin taking carnation instant breakfasts, and/or slimfast ultimas. This would be all I could have throughout the day unless it was something else with no calories...like certain crystal lite, ect. But anyway, my friend went with me to my appointment and heard them discussing this...she does not need to loose a lot of weight...but she did it anyway...and she lost 15 pounds in two weeks..so just a suggestion. :)
