I use to....It use to be for me that during those times, that extra strength I guess you could say, was definately needed....These days though its a steady thing with me if that makes any sense...My spiritual practices are pretty consistant these days regardless of whats goin on for me..of course a big factor with that would be the fact that I'm so use to the less than pleasant side of life these days I dont need that extra umph ya know....more often than not its still just another day, jsut with a "hiccup" in it (as my husband puts it)

I don't really turn to "religion". I do turn to the Lord. I turn to Him whether things are going good or bad. I rejoice to Him when things are going well and thank Him and I seek strength and comfort for the times when things are going bad. He never fails me and He never will. The Lord is my strength! God bless.

I definitely used to but then I heard a cute story that made me ralize we should turn there more all of the time, even when thingswere still good...A town was experiencing a severe drought. They finally decided to gather all the towns people together at the church to pray for rain. All but the blacksmith agreed to attend. The meeting went well and sure enough it began to rain. The pastor later visited the blacksmith and said "do you believe now?" The blacksmith said "I believed all along. Don't ever let the drought get so bad again before asking for rain" See the blacksmith knew it was more important to be thankful and ask for rain even if it was raining. The rest of the town only thought to ask for rain when they were desperate.
