What gift should I present him?

Well my choice of an ideal gift is to know what a person wants genuinely and has not been able to buy inspite of longing for it. Many a times I have given some books which are worth reading or any other thing that your husband is needing for a long time.

probably a candle light dinner, his fav flowers and something he likes but wud not want to buy

i think that ur gift should be something very diffrent which he has never thought of...something most surprising like something of ur own creation.family surprises etc.

Depends on what he likes or what he needs most at this moment. For example, if he needs a new leather belt, then you can get him a nice one. Or if he needs a pair of new shoes...or if he needs a new watch...or if he needs a new electric shaver. Or if he needs a gadget like iPod or something. If he likes books, then you can also get him a book written by his fave writer. Or if you want to give a personal gift, you can write love coupons for him. In each coupon you can write different things he likes, for example: you'll give him a full body massage or you'll cook his fave dinner or you'll give him breakfast in bed or something and the coupons are valid for a whole year.
