I have found grandmotherhood to be all that it was promised. She's two now, and when she's with me and turns on those big real tears, she knows grandma will give her anything if she will stop crying. Those big real tears just melt me. And, of course she's the most beautiful, smart and destined-for-greatness little girl in the world. Just yesterday I was out in the driveway saying "please come in before Mommy comes home and catches us". She wanted to sit in the middle of the driveway. Just sit there and I couldn't refuse. I suppose if she wanted the matches, I'd have to draw the line; but, those big real tears can melt me into butter. I think she knows it too.
