Don't You Hate Recipes with NO Pictures

how am i supposed to know what it is i'm cooking? how it's gonna look? if you have a recipe site, don't post a recipe without a picture. plz!

Yes, I hate it when recipes have no pictures. I rarely (if ever) make something when I don't have a picture to go along with it. I like to see what I'm making and it also helps me decide if that's what I even want to be eating. I can't always tell what something is like just by reading the ingredients. Whenever I buy a cookbook, I make sure that most, if not all, of the recipes have pictures with them.

I don't mind it... but yeah, on a recipe site, I would expect it to include pix.

That is so true. I find it completely useless to try out a recipe if I do not know the end result because I may eat a brown coloured cake that is supposed to be a white colour! I find it even more helpful when people post pictures of the steps in the production of making the food item just as an assurance that I doing the steps correctly. I guess this is why I prefer watching cooking shows rather then using recipe sites because I visually know how the cake (or whatever it is you are making) is going to look like.
