I love both but if I had a pet it would probably be a cat since they are independent and can take care of themselves. I am not home enough to take care of a dog so it would be unfair to the dog to not be able to take care of it more.

wow.. the most I ever had was 15, and 4 dogs... that's a lot of cat food. Currently we only have 7, but one is a deaf insulin dependant diabetic.. which is a handful.

Since I cannot fathom having a tiger for a pet, I will say I am more of a dog person. I still enjoy cats and appreciate the beauty of them, but to me, nothing is more unconditional than the love you get from your dog.

i prefer dogs to cats as i find them to be more loyal and closer to human. Cats relatively do not respond much to your affection but dogs does and could even sacrifice themselves for their owners.

i love cats. i am a suge sucker for house cats that want to play and be loved on. my cats want to play, be fed, and snuggle up to their mommy (me)

I actually like both cats and dogs. I like the big cats too. My current dog loves cats. She helped raise two litters of kittens some years ago. The only time I have ever seen her go after anyone (human or animal) was if she thought the threatened her cats.

I like cute puppes,but I have 2 cats just cuz my mom likes them;-)
