Tired of being fat

I joined the gym last week to go to classes. I signed up for a "class only membership" (meaning I can't just go in whenever I want and use equipment etc, I can only go to the classes.) It was all I could afford but it doesn't lend itself well to my schedule. I'm usually only able to make it in 2 or 3 nights a week because of work.
I got on the scale for the first time in a long long time tonight. I weigh 195 lbs. I hate that. I'm so fat.
I was fat all my life in highschool. I was 225 lbs my senior year. I never really cared about my weight enough to change it. I was like a size 22 in jeans
About 4 years ago I began the low carb diets, atkins, south beach, etc. I got down to 124 lbs and a size 7 in jeans. I lost like 90-100 lbs in about a year and a half of diet and excersise.
But the carb diet is so restrictive that i become bored. I do not like much meats to begin with. Like my parents were 7th advenists so I was raised not to eat pork. I don't like the taste of most fish. And I don't like weird gamey meat like deer or rabbit. So I was limited to beef, turkey, tuna, or chicken.
And since the food couldnt be fried it was so devoid of any texture it felt like greasey slabs sliding down my throat. I think I lost so much weight because I just stopped eating . I ate ONLY when I was hungry because there was no pleasure in food. The taste of the meat, eggs, and even cheese left a horrible heavy greasy nasty feeling inside my mouth.
So when I got down to a small size I went off my diet. Now 2 years later I've gained back almost all the weight. I have tried again to do the low carb diets but can never stay on them long.
I decided to use sparkpeople.com and count my calories and fat intake, staying at or below 1200 calories a day.
I did that for about a month or two and did not see any results so I became discouraged and went off.
I'm trying to count calories again and go to the gym as often as possible. I worked out for 2 hours today and stayed within my calorie goal, but it's so hard.
I hate feeling so unatractive, It's getting cold weather here and I can not find any jeans that fit comfortably, all the cute jeans are hip huggers and I just dont have the right figure for those types of clothes anymore. So frustrating.
Anyone else struggling with weight issues?

I sometimes feel the same. But my reason is because I want to look good in the eyes of my partner. Though I know taht he loves me even if I am that fat, I feel a little bit insecure when we are together then some of his friend will see us, I really want to hide myself. Its really hard to go on diet and I dont know what to do anymore. I just hope someday....

Overweight is always a problem. One can reduce overweight naturally too.
As you rise in the morning , drink about 1.5 litres of water. Water is great curer for number of diseases. This should be followed by deep breathing and stomach excercise by Yoga.
Use more of raw salads and leafy vegetables .
Follow it for 10 days you could lose weight upto 15-20 pounds

diet is an eternal topic of discuss, unless some special gene can be created and applied to human being.
i like fast diet more than those need a long time. so when i need to reduce weight, i will stop eating for around a week, only drink some tea, boybean milk, and a few juice. this way is quite effective for me.

Wow that’s like a big thing to do for me because I don’t like exercising honestly, I’m good at it at first but when I got tired, I just want to go back to my bed and sleep. I have a medium built but sometimes I feel like I’m fat but I know how to lose it though by eating carbohydrates once a day fro about few days and I’m back. Sometimes I get tired of my figure too and just go to the grocery and buy some fatty foods. It’s sometimes making me feel so insecure looking to people who has bigger body than me but still looking sexy with those extra pound they got, I just want to look like it and when I get fat, my body just don’t get. Hehe..

That is great that you are attending classes and are trying to lose weight. Gyms are expensive, whether taking classes or using the equipment so I do most of my workouts at home or I will go to a nearby park and do walking and use the equipment along the walking trail to workout. My weight too has fluctuated over the past year and want to try and trim down and keep it down. Great to see that you are trying to improve your health and hope you lose the weight that you are trying to lose.

I am also struggling with my weight, I am enrolled in a gym but due to worl schedules I only managed to go 3 times a week..and as of now, I still don't see any difference.
I tried cutting down on carbs and all of my food intake too..but still,I think I didn't lose even a pound..I have yet to weight myself next week and if I'm still at 165 lbs..maybe I'll work harder.
I'm trying to lose weight because I want to get pregnant..really,it's so frustrating at times but hey girl.we gotta be trying!.we can do it!
