I wrote this poem for my husband a long time ago.. I think it explains it all:
Once in a lifetime,
You find that special someone.
That fills the empty space,
Like no one else has ever done.
Someone that makes you smile,
Through the darkest hour.
Someone who can take the worst,
And turn it into a flower.
Someone to hold your hand,
And guide you through the maze.
Someone to open your eyes,
And lift you out of the haze.
Someone to confide in,
In the middle of the night.
Someone to share your dreams,
As they take flight.
When you find your special someone,
Hold on tight and never let go.
And as soon as your eyes meet,
Your heart will let you know.

To me love is being in a relationship where you can totally be yourself and to the degree that you can allow your partner to be his/herself, you can also be yourself. As a therapist and Zen practitioner, I feel the greatest gift i can give my partner is to give her the space to be who she really is. And then I can be who I really am - to it's a gift to another and yet paradoxically to myself. :-)

Love has many faces my friend.
First love is little foolish and too hot, you never know were the hell you are....
To be in romantic love is merely to be in a state of perceptual anesthesia....
Unconditional love means we are with family, friends and animals....
Sometimes when friendship get on fire, we in love again...:)

Love to me to to find someone that feels the same way as you do about him. Love is sharing and caring about each other. Love is peace to oeveryone that you know and met. It is also good to love yourself for the person you are and the person God made you to be.

Love is the magic that brings happiness to life. It is the energy of the soul, the motivation of spirit. And brings forth a passion so rich and true.
Whether it be love between a man and a woman, parent and child, or even in friendship or relative, it brings out the goodness of humanity, compassion, and charity. For, with love, there is truth - the purpose of our being.
To love one another is to give respect for one another for who we are and what we portray. It is blind to race, culture and creed.
There is nothing more perfect than love, despite our personal flaws, for to love is also to forgive.
Can you imagine what the world would be like if we could all accept each other for who we are and love one another, despite our differences?

I'm not poetic but if my heart tells my brain It's love then that's how it's labelled. This applies to art, cars and of course relationships. If we only listened to our brain we'd fall in and out of love many times every day, but in reality our heart looks at the big picture and controls our stability.

love is:
kids
music
the clouds
the sun and the moon
it is all around us, it is in ourselves, in our friends, in our family. it is God, it is good. love is arms wrapped around us, a butterfly floating gently in a breeze, the raindrops tip tapping on our roofs, flowers blooming.
love is a look in someone's eye, the beating of a heart, the sound of a child's laughter, the flash of a smile.
love is all around, yet some are blind to it. but it's not always tangible, you must simply believe in it.

" Love is never having to say you are sorry." I am sorry. I couldn't resist.Love is the feeling you get when you are with the person that makes you feel like you are home. And your happiness is linked to theirs. I mean you want them to be happy no matter what. With or without you.

I think there is no exact defination of love..
Love is a matter of feelings & it may grow between to alive substances or among more than two alive subtances. There is a sentence like love is heavenly so let us try to make this dual place (earth) heaven learning properly each other so far we stay here. Because these will be measure once like how much lovely one was (for this moment)?

I found this in the bible...
"Love is patient; love is kind, love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on it's own way; it is not irratable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrong doing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends."

There are many definitions of love. We can find them everywhere. I can hear them any time. Most of them are sweet, most are mushy, and most are over-sentimental.
Yesterday, I was doing a story that I will post in my blog and I came up with a sentence that can define love. Here it goes. "Love is an obsession felt by the heart but denied by the human brain."
People may have different definition of love. It depends on the experiences . :)

love is wonderful,
yet can be painful.
full of happiness,
and sometimes sadness.
love is meant to be forever,
but the now generation make it whatever.
nobody seems to take it seriously,
because everyone just goes i love you to any tom, D and harry.
the magic of love is so powerful,
the power is like magic and some call it curse.
it can brighten up a persons life,
can even ruin some people's future.
once you open yourself to love,
you have to be prepared to get hurt.
most people can't take it,
so they end up jumping from the 30th floor building.
love is important to everyone's life,
otherwise they'll be so lonely to have no one.
it is better to have love and lost,
than to have never been in love or loved before.
