If you were to write the story of your life, what would your overall message be?

Mine would be multiple messages. For homelife, plan to have a good marriage and to find a good man. For work, if at first you don't succeed, try and try again. For friendships, my friends are my strength and my hope. For animals, catch the drop-offs and get them vaccinated before they get feline lukemia or worms really bad, etc.
So if you wrote your life story, what would your messages be?

Should one's life story necessarily have a message?
I don't think so.
I'll likely write one autobiography after some years. It will be around some of the incidents that happened in my life and i'll try to sketch them interestingly. I don't try to convey any message through it - for i don't believe that a common man's message can reach people as effectively as that of a celebrity.

J. K. Rowling hasn't written her autobiography yet. But before she wrote the Harry Potter books, she was a common person.
No, one does not have to have a message, but for one to live a life and have no sage words of advice or having not learned a lesson in life, seems like a life wasted with nothing to tell or give back to the people who read the book-to me anyway. I'm sure you have learned a great deal in your life that is worth sharing. Take care

Well, eventually I would actually Love to write a Story for others to read about me, and what my life has been about. The main issue would maybe be people who would be interested in reading it, unless they really wanted to take the time and get to know me better as a person.
Mine would contain stories about me, who I am, where I was born, etc. and then share things about my abusive childhood and how it has effected me and my family now that we are adults, and then talk about other issues that I feel have been obstacles for me to overcome.
But in reality I find if I relate to others some of the many things I have endured maybe I would be able to help someone else realize that life can present you a lot of obstacles, but it is up to you as a person what you do with it, and accomplish from there.

I think that would be a very wonderful book. Difficult to write and to read, but the overall message is a good one that other people who are going through or just life similar situations need to read. I hope you writer that book to help others. Take care

My message would something like this “I have live my life to the fullest. I made mistakes from the past but I have learned from it and that makes me a better person now.” I’m young and I have so many experiences in life that other teenagers won’t believe I have been there and some of it just don’t fit for the others but I’m thankful I experienced it and got through it myself. Now, I know how to deal with situations like it, probably better than anybody else.

I think that being a teenager is harder and harder every generation. If you can get through it with your head on straight, then you're doing way better than most people. So you have my congratulations and I hope things go well for you in the future. Take care

Mind would be not to dream too hard for things, because dreams sometimes have a nasty habit of coming true! I would also say go into relationships with your brain not just your heart and never be hasty into moving in with someone too soon. Find out what your partner is truly like before making a big commitment. Love comes in all shapes and sizes and love can be used as a manipulating tool for bad as well as good. I would also say that having true friends behind you and to help you in lifes turbulent ocean is a must.

Hmmm - on past experience -
Finish your education
Never start smoking
Decline credit cards or loans
Accept that the man who is best for you may not be who you consider to be Mr Right, Mr Handsome, or Mr Exciting
Keep your self respect above all else
Don't let go of your friends for any reason
Continue learning whatever age you are
Keep a little in reserve for a rainy day - love or money
Appreciate your family: they are really the only ones who love you just because you are you
When the worst happens, remember, it is the worst. Things can only get better. And whatever does not kill you realy does make you stronger.
And always pay for pet insurance!

Nice bunch of messages, it would either have to be a really long novel, or many smaller ones. Good ones. Take care
